Mirari || Zine Flip Through

Objective:

  • To see another perspective of a fellow woman (from younger generation) fear of public labelling

  • To create another platform of narrative that can list down the voices of sexual assault victims (aside from my protagonist)

  • 'BREAKING THE SILENCE!' -- to motivate more women to speak out of their concerns.

Narrative:

Asha is a young sexual assault victim who was saved by Malika’s bravery. Malika inspires her to be a counsellor that receives the story of other female victims that would like to voice out. This zine is designed to share the story of Asha after she grew up and became a feminist. The content would be in a chronological order of Asha's emotion before meeting Malika, until there is a character development to her personality.
